Hi - I'm a new member, only came across the site tonight. Very impressed so far.
Anyways, here's a question for you: I'm after a mesh body that isn't that densely "woven", but is strong and stretchy. I have a really good one from Sugarpetals but it is a bit too dense - anyone know any other good suppliers? Thanks, Kathy |

Hi Kathy,
I got some really good bodystockings from this ebay seller. She's based in Australia, so shipping might be a killer for you, but the product is pretty good. (*note: being well endowed, I find they're more comfortable sitting under the bust, rather than over it) |

Hi Gwinity,
Strange - about 2 mins after posting the question I found the same seller on eBay. The bodies look good and it is an "under the bust" type I'm after, but I'm a bit worried that the black part may show - but I'm going to get in touch with them and find out if they do them with flesh coloured bottom halves Thanks for your help! Kathy x |

Hi Kathy,
That is spooky! I found the black part of the bodystocking loots bigger than it really is: It ended up sitting just below the hipbones, and didn't show at all. You may want to be careful with the ruching/gathering at the bust, however, as I found that was harder to hide. (thank goodness for wrap tops and dangles!) |

Hi Gwinity,
these bodystockings look nice but how dense is the material? I like powernet of Sugarpetals but buying something from them just feels too troublesome as things at their web page is mostly done manually Some mesh materials both in bodystocking and mesh-middel unitards also feel too flimsy so I want that material tones up my waist but still movement should be easy to do. |

Hi Kiraze,
I don't know what powernet is like, but these ones are made of crystal lycra. They seem pretty firm, and it held in my middle quite nicely, but I don't know how they'll go over time - whether they'll lose elasticity like a favourite swimsuit! They do have seams up the sides, if that makes a difference... If you're any good at sewing or know a seamstress, I found another seller who sells lengths of powernet (and black mesh leotards), so that is always another option...? |

Okay, three is a charm- I have screwed up the quote enough. I find Sugarpetals site a bit difficult to navigate, too, but I keep slogging through because I am very pleased with the product. |

If you know someone who is handy with the old sewing machine, you can log onto Nevtex On-Line Shop. The website caters for the dance industry, they sell powernet in many colours (at a fairly decent price!!!) and also sell leotard patterns which can be adapted. Also check out the trimmings section! If it's just flesh coloured powernet you're after - try Abakhan in Stafford St (off London Road, liverpool city centre) that's where i got mine from. Hope this is of help! |

I have a power net body stocking from Sugar Petals. I had no problems with her site, though. Maybe she's changed it. There's another seller who sells body stockings. She's called Designs by Janie, she has a tribe, and you can also Google her name.
