Hello again Sausan,
if you look over by my avatar, you'll see that i'm from Trinidad - that's in the caribbean and our exchange rate is at lowest 6TTD:1 USD. At $800, one of your workshops will cost me about $5000 and that's without factoring in accomodation and airfare. Perhaps at some time in the future when i'm making alot more money than i am now, i'll be able to make such an investment in my dance education. thank you though for offering the information. Mya |

Hi,
I'm glad you clarified that. Exchange rates vary all over the world. If you are in the United States, the cost is less than $800. Thanks for your interest. Hope to see you one day. :-) -Sausan

Mya, although Brea won't be doing the festival for a year, there should be other workshops in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area this summer. I will look and see what I can find and I do not think they are too expensive, other than flight and accomodations. Let me look at Cassandra's site because I believe she holds workshops often.
This one is already past, but I think she does them every once in a while, so you can periodically check her website or email her of upcoming workshops. Aliyah's Workshops Here is Cassandra's website...She is a great teacher and has many upcoming workshops... Event Details Good luck and happy dancing! Note the weekend of May 16-21st...SHe has a workshop that week. Last edited by KuteNurse; 03-10-2008 at 10:57 PM. |

Hi guys,
I want to say I am so sorry for postponing the event until next year! I really want it to be great and thought there probably wasn't enough time for that when I got the idea.

Hi Mya,
You may want to look into workshops in North Carolina. Accommodations there should be less expensive than in other parts of the US, and it is closer to you. Florida is a good possibility, too. I think that's where Bozenka teaches, and at some point I would love to take from her. ![]() I can relate to wanting to travel and study with new people...I haven't been able to do that yet. Someday soon! Last edited by da Sage; 03-26-2008 at 02:33 AM. Reason: add sentence |
